ALF BISHAI

founder/artistic director

Alf is a musician and serial out-of-the-boxist. He has worked in New York as a music director, composer, producer, and music professor (NYU) for more than twenty years, all the while pursuing his mad obsession with rebooting classical. The Ear is the fruit of a couple decades of thinking, arguing, writing, wrangling, experimenting, and searching for kindred spirits. Alf lives in Manhattan and will never move, ever.

 

DANIELA HOLBAN

director of operations

Daniela is a curator and arts manager in New York City. She has worked in museums, art galleries and non profits since 2007. She’s constantly seeking the next art piece that will shake the world to its roots, or at least shake hers. She finds inspiration in creative communities, innovative development and cultural revolutions. She was named one of Brooklyn’s 50 Most Fascinating People of 2023 by Brooklyn Magazine. Daniela is excited to be part of something that will reboot classical and present the world with new magic.
