Mission Statement:

The Ear is a New York City nonprofit that finds and promotes highly talented composers who, like the great composers of the classical tradition, want to connect with general society. It is founded on the belief that there exists a great latent demand for classical music that can only be unlocked by exciting new art.

Vision Statement:

We believe classical music will come roaring back to life when lots of composers start writing lots of short pieces that make people want to shout “Play it again!”
